I’m on a mission to spread the word that your health is your wealth and it’s easier than you think to lose weight and be healthy!
Hi, My name is Jedha and I rediscovered myself using the paleo diet. After gaining 33 pounds (15 kilos) in just a few years from stress and completely losing my mojo to the point where I felt damn awful, I made a decision to change!
I was sick of not looking or feeling like myself at all- and that’s more to the point. I’m a very busy person, I run a business, I’m a mother, but that does not make it an excuse to let my health deteriorate!
Like many women I think I just put myself last and found myself on a steep downward spiral. When I was trying to dig myself out of the hole, I tried to make a deal with myself almost every day that “tomorrow I will start on my new plan”, “tomorrow I will get my life back on track”.
But one day I just woke up and got sick of hearing myself say it! Finally, I pulled myself together, mustered up the inner strength, got myself a personal trainer and made a firm decision to love and look after myself.
So I chose to use the Paleo Diet and lifestyle to lose weight and I use this blog to educate and help others to learn about the paleo diet and lifestyle and apply it to their lives too.
The paleo diet has also inspired my new career!
I now coach people to become the very best person they can be through improved health!
It’s actually been happening for sometime as I’ve got a long term background of over 15 years in the health and wellness industry.
That’s right, I’m certainly not ignorant when to comes to health I just lost my way somehwere when I got out of shape. I’ve actually got a few bits of paper behind my name.
Qualifications & Memberships
Bachelor of Social Science – I majored in relationships, communication, counselling and sociology. I love exploring the way things work and how we tick and that has led me to become a motivation and mindset coach.
Qualified personal trainer / weight loss coach – yes I’ve got some know-how on this stuff.
Qualified pain and injury therapist, Diploma of remedial massage and loads of other certificates in this field – I’ve spent years in my own clinic working with people with pain adn injury from professional elite athletes to old people and children. My role as a therapist is to educate people about health and help them treat their pain and injury.
Yoga Instructor - I haven’t taught yoga for years but used to do it about 15 years ago.
Member of ATMS (Australian Traditional Medicine Society)
So as you can see I do know a bit about health. That doesn’t mean I don’t lose my way sometimes too
More About Me…
I’ve got a few kids and have raised them all natural! They are healthy specimens, rarely getting sick and have never been to the doctor. I always opt to see natural health practitioners and totally believe in finding the cause and not just masking the symptoms.
I think weight gain is a symptom as well. A symptom of lack of education, stress response, emotional issues, physical problems, you name it, it could be anything but we need to look at weight loss holistically and be willing to change more than a few things to find the best in ourselves.
