Weight Loss Hypnosis. Overcome The Mind For Fast Results!

Weight loss hypnosisI’ve been lucky enough to try out a weight loss hypnosis program written by Dr. Randy Gilchrist. The program is called ‘The Weight Loss Mindset’ and that’s initially what sparked my attention because mindset is the most important factor when it comes to weight loss and it’s something that many of us struggle with.

That’s where hypnosis can be *very* helpful!

Hypnosis is not some magical thing, but a simple technique that takes you into a deep relaxation. Once you are in the deep relaxation your mind is more receptive to new ideas and thoughts.

The idea is that we get out of our conscious, rational mind and get to the subconscious mind where we can pull out those weeds that hold us back and replace them with a bed of flowers. A program like this helps us build the mental strength, persistence and motivation needed to succeed and reach our goals much faster.

Dr. Gilchrist’s program is awesome!

It comes with 3 ebooks and 8 hypnosis audio’s!

  • *An Intelligent Approach to losing weight
  • *Emotional eating busters
  • *Getting the most from the weight loss mindset

You can select to buy the program in mp3 or CD format, which I think is great!

Dr. Gilchrist has a very soothing and mesmerizing voice that helps you to easily relax. The audios cover all the really important aspects of weight loss and help to shift the mindset from a negative mindset to a positive one.

weight loss hypnosis it works!Aspects include:

I struggle the most with, “It’s time to eat” as well as eating from boredom and to comfort myself in both happy and sad times.

  2. Katia says:

My biggest struggle is ‘dealing with temptation’- I usually avoid it by ensuring I do not have junk in the house, but of I go visiting my family- their house is full of biscuits etc and it usually ends badly.

  3. Claire says:

Emotional eating for me comes down to issues with self worth and esteem. I’ve lost a lot of weight and feel fabulous since turning to a paleo lifestyle, but it hasn’t been totally for me…it’s to look better and feel better for the approval of others. Secret eating and self-sabotage get in the way of me being the best version of myself.

  4. kait says:

I struggle the most with craving control which results in binge eating junk foods. I have struggled withIBS for a decade and finally want to take control by going paleo. Its all ready changed my pain and discomft in relation to food, but sometimes i still go back to bingeing, its shameful. Now is the time to change, final semester of college before my whole life begins!

    Hi Jedha,
My biggest struggle with everything I do is emotion-based…and of course, this includes food. I let emotions determine my alcoholic habits, food habits, laziness and/or motivating habits, just about everything. I’m currently 92 days sober from alcohol, which is great but I’m doing even more emotional eating! :P I can rock Paleo for about 7-10 days, lose about 7-10 lbs and then mother nature rears her ugly head for a week and I gain it all back. Food seems to ‘talk’ to me if unhealthy choices are near by and I work in an environment where there are some choices I can’t ignore because they are literally in front of my face all day, and the emotion gets the best of me. I know I can do Paleo, and I know how great I feel when I do it (tummy issues out the door!) I need something that can get into my head and work out some of those kinks so I can work on the exterior ones and learn to tell the food NO when it starts talking to me, haha! Thanks for reading!

The hardest thing for me is getting started. What a huge difference it makes once I get past the cravings and feeling of starvation. My energy levels increase and I feel great. Guess it just goes to show it really is mind over matter. Even better…I notice that my decrease when I stick to the Paleo.

  7. Hi Jedha:

Thank you for your review of my program. One small typo: I’m Dr. Gilchrist, not Gilbert. No big deal. I appreciate your helpful comments here on your site. Take care,

  8. Anice G says:

    Hi Jedha:
I am struggle with exercise motivation, portion distortion and eating from boredom. I get started and for a coupleof weeks I amdoing great. Then boredom sets in or I don’t lose any weight and I get depressed and the cycle starts again. Anything that will help with the harmful cycle would be greatly appreciated.

  9. Dolly says:

    Hi Jedha,

My struggle is due to chronic fatigue – my metabolism has changed and I can’t exercise, so even though my diet hasn’t changed the weight goes on and doesn’t come off. Anything to help would be great as it affects my self esteem, my whole body shape has changed and I feel powerless to do anything about it.

  10. Jo says:

I struggle with temptation. So much so that even when I rid my house of all scrumptious food that I KNOW I shouldn’t eat I will get up and back something to fulfil my sweet tooth! lol

  11. Cath says:

I struggle with staying organized. I slip into a chaotic state & just eat anything. When I’m organized I have good food on hand & pre prepare meals . I just need to stay ahead of the game

  12. Tom says:

Going through an extremely ugly divorce right now, I have made the bad choice of relying on food as my crutch to sooth my emotional pain. I know realize how wrong it has been and I need help to break the stability that food now plays in my life. Between paying the lawyer’s bills and just trying to survive, I can’t afford the course. To win this prize would mean a chance to put my life back on track and lose the pounds I have gained using food as the great pacifier for my emotional pain of finding out she was cheating on me. It will also give me a chance to gain control over my life again.

  13. Diane says:

My biggest struggle is late at night being hungry and not being able to eat.

  14. Jason says:

My biggest struggle is being hungry at night — I always get so hungry (ravenous almost) — which causes me to, inevitably get off my paleo diet. I need help getting back on track and on track for good.

  15. becca says:

I struggle with everything I like to think that because i love salad that I’m eating right but then i see a peanut butter cup or a loaf of white bread a pop tart then I see a steak. I was never told to eat everything on my plate but for some reason I can not not eat everything on my plate. I have an over eating problem and I can’t fix it by my self.

  16. Danika says:

I wish I could control my urges to eat things I know are awful for me… and portions… but I just cant…. it really sucks… I work out like crazy- but just cant seem to lose the weight…

  17. Cristina says:

I am very busy teacher! I always have to make sure I have good meals already prepared or I tend to eat what is easy. I am also a chip addict. I love the crunchy, salty combo.

  18. krissy says:

My biggest struggle is stress! I can’t stay in control of it. I try deep breathing, waking away and taking time out..I just can’t seem to keep a handle on it. I am homeschooling 4 kids, I am currently enrolled in college courses and I own a business….I’m stressed! When life gets out of control, the only thing that i can control is eating, so that’s what I do, until the stressers are gone. I need help!

  19. jonene says:

My struggle is the 3:00pm binge. I am good until that time of the day and than its over until the next day when I have to mentally prepare yet again for a new day.

  20. Linda P says:

I struggle in the afternoon around 3:00. That is when I always go for the really bad food for a snack.

  22. Mary says:

I can do well for 2 or 3 weeks (eating healthy), then one “mistake” (a cookie, brownie, etc), and I am in the gutter. Totally compulsive. When I go “down”, as I call it, I go all the way – eating badly, forget the vitamins, house gets a mess, everything gets totally disorganized. A vicious circle for me. I have tried hypnosis a long time ago, and it worked very well for a while. Went to a Dr – a friend of a friend. Maybe if I had it here myself to listen to when I needed, it might work!! Fingers crossed!

  23. Mindless eating is my biggest struggle. I eat even without even really being aware of it sometimes and that brings on the cravings which leads me to over eat more.

  24. Heather A says:

Where to start? I have tried every diet imaginable, diet pills, detox, flush, teas. I get really psyched up and start well but have YET to be able to stay committed. I do great for the first couple days, even weeks, and I don’t know what happens. Stress and anxiety take over, wife and mom (of 4) duties, etc. I am a VERY emotional eater. This is why I’ve decided to try Paleo. While only on day 2, I’m using prayer this time to get me through. I know it’s a “lifestyle” change and not a “diet” and that is really a helpful way to think about it. I have always wanted to try hypnosis since it seems as though it REALLY is a certain “mindset” you have to have yourself wrapped around to succeed. Thank you for listening to me ramble : )
