Paleo Diet Results. Down 33lbs (15 kgs) in 16 weeks!

My Paleo Diet Results Are In!

When I first started my paleo journey way back when, I didn’t know I would end up a strong paleo enthusiast, promoting and helping others lose weight too. At the time I was doing it for myself but I was so pleased with the results, that I decided to use my background in health to start coaching others. 

After just four weeks of following the paleo diet I think the results were awesome, particularly for someone who loves food so much :)

Coming in at a loss of 9 lbs (4.1kg),  in just 4 weeks, with very little effort! And a whole lot of inches of body fat too!

I ate plenty, never felt deprived, didn’t exercise a whole bunch, and I still lost the weight.

Awesome, awesome results for just four weeks! I was so pleased with this and was totally amped up to keep going! And of course since have never stopped.

At the time I felt like I had finally got on top of my years of emotional eating. The diet had totally curbed my compulsive overeating problem, probably due to the fact that I wasn’t eating all the crap. And I wasn’t getting hungry, which was a bonus because before I felt hungry all the time, or at least I wanted to eat all the time.

After 12 weeks I’d lost 17.6 lbs (8kg) and over 22 inches of pure body fat…now that’s just awesome!

After 16 weeks I’d lost 33 lbs (15kg) and so many inches I had to buy new clothes, no worries there :)

That’s roughly about 2.2lbs (1 kg) per week, which is what I’ve found is roughly the average weight loss for most people.

I so enjoy the paleo diet! It’s reignited my passion for cooking and food. Best part about it is there are no skipping meals, no calorie counting (for the most part), no major calorie restrictions, and no measuring food portions. I always hated that about all the other ‘diets’ out there. Paleo is really a lifestyle once you get used to it and the best thing is you can eat loads of food…trust me I LOVE my food!

If you are hesitant in starting the paleo diet, then please don’t be. It’s the best diet you could possibly come by. Sure it takes some getting used to but you truly feel awesome eating this way. And clearly the weight loss results speak for themselves. I know this new lifestyle will continue to deliver results for me on an ongoing basis. And I’ve seen first hand how it has transformed the lives of others.
